IMPORTANT:  We have reserved a block of 35 rooms our peak nights (Tuesday - Friday).  You can register at any time, however, when we fill-up those rooms, we will seek to add more rooms, but there's no guarantee as the public will be reserving rooms during this time period as well. So please don't assume you can wait until the last minute to register.  This resort has always been on our bucket list and rooms will be in high demand.  So if you know you'll have a roommate, please both of you register the same day if possible.

Optional Things to Enjoy:

Package Pricing - See Below.  Our rate is so low, you could easily pay for five more years of ASGA membership and not pay the price the public would pay for this same event. This is Southern Hospitality at its best. The staff welcomes us again to their beautiful and historic resort. (And although gratuities are included in all items in your package price, please be sure to take care of your room and wait staff if you feel "moved" to do so!)

Open to Current Members Only

For ASGA members, keep in mind that you must be an ASGA member at the time of the event in order to attend. To join ASGA or renew your dues, go to www.SinglesGolf.com/join   Not sure when your dues expire, go here.

Golf

Courses.  We will play The Old White TPC and The Meadows Courses.  If our numbers are sufficient, we'll shotgun each day. As of 08/17/18, we are scheduled to play The Old White TPC course at 12:30 on Wednesday and The Meadows course at 9:00 on Thursday. The Meadows course has changed their aeration date to November so that won't be an issue.

OPTIONAL ROUND AT THE ASHFORD, a par-3, 9-hole course newly opened on August 22, 2018 - $62.50 (normal rate is $75). We would play this course on the day of arrival, Tuesday, October 23 at 2:00pm.

Golf Play Format.  We will play our own ball each day using the USGA Rules of Golf.  Men will play the middle tees at Old White (5853 yards) and the middle tees at The Meadows (5622 yards). Women will play the forward tees at 5021 yards on the Old White and 4885 on The Meadows.

Golf Cancellation due to Weather.  The Greenbrier's policy is (paraphrasing) "if the superintendent closes the course due to weather, golf will be refunded."  It is his call, not closed on the basis of how one feels, too cool, etc.

The Greenbrier on-property shuttle service is provided free of charge to all courses as required. Go to the North Door (near the candy maker) Entrance to pick-up the shuttle. The shuttle makes continuous loops to the golf courses starting at 7:15am. You may also drive to courses in your own vehicle.

Optional Rounds of Golf - THE ASHFORD, a par-3, 9-hole course newly opened on August 22, 2018 - $62.50 inclusive of taxes and fees (normal rate is $75++). We would play this course on the day of arrival, October 23 at 2:00pm.

Competition and Prizes.  First and second place team winners with scoring based on the two (2) best net balls out of each foursome and closest-to-pin competitions on the par 3s.  Winners will be announced at our final nights' award's dinner. ASGA $25 Prize Certificates will be awarded to the winners.

Golf Club Storage.  The resort will store your golf clubs upon arrival and between rounds and have them sitting on your cart for your next day of play.  When you get to The Greenbrier, leave your clubs with the bell stand. Make sure your name is on your golf bag.  Also, make sure you have your name on each of your clubs. ASGA provides a set of 14 labels as part of your membership. If you don't have your name and contact phone on each of your clubs, go here to order a set. Allow 7-10 days for processing. When you leave the hotel, be sure to remember to pack your clubs!

Caddies.  Enjoy your overall experience by hiring a Greenbrier caddie.  You must reserve your caddie in advance and the number of caddies available varies from season to season. ASGA assumes no responsibility for no-shows of caddies.

Click here to go to The Greenbrier's general golf website.

ASGA or The Greenbrier's golf staff reserves the right to modify the tee time schedule based on the number of players as we get closer to the event. Simply put, if we don't have enough for a shotgun, we do straight tee times.
